Dual Syllabi — A Unique Choice

Ours is one of the very few schools which offers the parents a choice between the S.S.C.E. and I.C.S.E. Courses. The Teachers accepted the challenge of implementing different syllabi and methodology for each course. They translated their efforts into excellent results in the Board and Council Examinations and have continued to do so for the past twenty-one years.

Our success lies in the fact that we have a dedicated Teaching Staff. They are regularly exposed to New Teaching Techniques, Activities and Learning Experiences through Training Sessions conducted by the 'Best' available Resource Persons.

Pillars of Character & Leadership

Uncompromising Discipline

The Psychological Foundation of our school rests in uncompromising discipline that shapes character and instills a lifelong ethic of responsibility and respect.

Spiritual Education

Spiritual Education forms one of the main pillars supporting our unfinished edifice for developing character and leadership — nurturing the inner growth of every student.

The Prefect System

The Prefect System fosters student leadership, accountability, and peer responsibility — placing trust in students to lead by example and serve their school community.

The House System

The House System encourages healthy competition, team spirit, and a strong sense of belonging — creating bonds that last well beyond the school years.

Sports, Co-curricular & Beyond

"The Battle of Waterloo was won on the playing Fields of Eton." These immortal words by the Duke of Wellington — England's greatest soldier — are reflected in the Leadership and Team Spirit displayed on our Sport's ground. We believe that the playing field is where champions of both sport and life are forged.

The School also provides an ever-increasing variety of co-curricular activities from Song and Dance to Yoga and from Skating to Astronomy. There is ample scope for talents to be discovered and developed. Every child is encouraged to find their spark and pursue it with passion.

We have an Active Alumni Association that is ever ready to serve their Alma Mater. Their active interest speaks volumes about their loyalty and gratitude — and serves as inspiration for every current student who walks these halls.

Our School Song

The Voice of Our Values

"Day after day it is our foremost Aim,
To lift our thoughts On to a higher plane,
Knowledge and Skills we'll use to play our parts,
To serve our Country's cause with all our hearts."

Milestones in Our Journey

1972 — The Beginning

Vidya Pratishthan, Baramati, founded "Bal Vikas Mandir" — taking its first bold step into the field of education under the visionary leadership of Hon. Shri. Sharadchandraji Pawar. The school opened its doors with a mission to provide quality, character-driven education to the children of Baramati.

1984–86 — First SSCE Batches

The school's inaugural S.S.C.E. batches completed their Board examinations, marking the first major milestone in academic achievement. Students set high standards in results that established the school's reputation for academic excellence in the region.

Early 1990s — ICSE Programme Introduced

The school became one of the very few institutions to offer parents a choice between S.S.C.E. and I.C.S.E. syllabi. Teaching staff embraced the challenge of implementing different methodologies for each course, broadening the educational horizon for Baramati's families.

1993–96 — Dual-Board Excellence

Students excelled simultaneously in both the S.S.C.E. and I.C.S.E. Board examinations, with photographic records of these landmark batches preserved as a testament to the school's growing reputation. Staff training programmes and Resource Persons elevated teaching quality further.

2000s — Infrastructure & Expansion

Construction of the new school building provided expanded classrooms, science laboratories, a well-stocked library, and dedicated sports facilities. The House System and Prefect System were strengthened, embedding leadership values into the school's culture.

Present — A Legacy of Excellence

Today, VPBVM maintains a proud tradition of consistent Board results and a near-100% pass rate. The school's co-curricular programme spans music, dance, yoga, skating, astronomy, and more. An active Alumni Association keeps the community of learners alive and connected across generations.
